♥Mini holiday photo's♥

안녕 친구 :)
It's been a while I know almost 2 weeks since I last posted. Sorry >< I really have been meaning to post more frequently but I got sick again the summer heat really isn't my friend at all. How is it even possible to catch a cold in the summer...seriously?!
Anyway on Monday I was surprised by my lovely dad to a mini 3 day 2 night holiday, to my favourite part of the country.....Torquay, Devon. It was so beautiful down there as usual sitting in the gardens of Cockington have cream tea ahhh that's the life Haha! I've been going there since I was a baby and I'm 20 now so it kind of has a special place in my heart^^ Every year waking up at 3:30am, leaving at 4:00am to start our 4hour journey down there brings back so many happy childhood memories:)

*Pre-warning photo spam alert:) *

Cockington:

Besides having breakfast the first thing on the engender was a mid morning cream tea in the picturesque village of Cockington. Cockington is possibly the most adorable little village I've ever seen, and has the best cream tea's I've ever tasted. Besides a good old Cornish pasty Devon is famous for there cream tea I'm not entirely sure if the Cream tea is known abroad so I'll tell you what it is^^
Basically it's a delicious sweet dessert type snack that is eaten along with a good old cup of British tea Plain scones topped with strawberry jam and clotted cream. ohhhh just talking about it now is making me crave it, believe me the Cream teas served in this place are the best I highly recommend if your in the area  check it out!!

Whenever I have cream tea here the scones are always lovely and warm ahhh it's seriously making me hungry now!>< These tasty treats are delicious but so bad if your on a diet like me but one wont hurt right?

Piano man ^D^ this guys always there setting a cheerful mood in the summer sun.

Me and my lovely younger brother who just so happens to have the same name as our new born future King George;)

*Sailor Mars on an off day haha*

Brixham:

Day 2 was a venture to Brixham the cute little fishing town west of Torquay.

This place sells the best fudge I've ever had.

Paignton:

My holly grail ice cream store, I've never even herd of half the flavors they do here. Apple crumble? how can anyone eat apple crumble ice cream the dessert is gross. blahhhh

Possibly the creepiest doll I've ever seen.

Dartmouth:

Best bit of pastry this country has to offer a good old pasty^^

Nom Nom bubblegum ice cream mwahaha

Thank you for reading I hope you liked it(♥_♥)

WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!! It's GlossyBox time whoop whoop!
With all this shamazing weather we're having here in the UK I've been in a seriously good mood, summer sun shine always makes me smile. It's the best summer we've had here in years seriously!
So when I woke up to find this beauty sitting on the door step my day started with a huge smile.

The box is so so cute an summery:) Cause of the great weather at the moment I was extremely curious to see what goodies they had this month.

Each month the box comes with a leaflet explaining what the products are, how to use them and where you can buy them.

Always so pretty and girly with a little bow♥

This Months goodies Yay I can't wait to try these products!

SLEEK makeup
Pout paint.

Pout Paints are intensive, long lasting lip pigments that are made to be mixed. Only a tiny amount is needed when applying cause these are highly pigmented.

The previous day I saw the SLEEK Pout Paints in Superdrug and was umming about whether or not to but them. So glad I didn't I'm looking forward to trying these lip pouts.

ESSIE

Nail stickers used instead of polish for a chic look.

One set from £9.99

I haven't tried the new nail sticker trend yet, to be honest I find them a tad expensive for my liking. Plus I don't have a steady hand so it will be really interesting to see how they will turn out.

♥RiRi Woo Lippy {mac review}♥

안녕 ^^ Everyone just a little review/ impressions post for you today:)
WHAAAAA!! I'm super duper exciting I've finally gotten my hands on RiRi Woo from Rihanna's limited online exclusive.
Actually I was extremely lucky to have even got this lippy. When they first released RiRi Woo I wasn't able to get my hands on it, *so sad* by the time I'd had the time to get to my local MAC it was sold out!!! So when I herd it was coming back along with a few other products I got super excited.  As soon as it was released I got straight on the website to order. Frustrating thing is though I wanted RiRi Boy so badly as well I was literally about to press pay literally 2 seconds before it just completely sold out. Dam it I know I've got bad luck but seriously?! That's just ridiculous!!! But I got RiRi Woo finally so I'm not complaining....>_<

literally wanted to rip open the box!
RiRi Woo YAY!!!

RiRi Woo is a gorgeous red retro matte as soon as I saw it I had to have it, being a fan of retro looking makeup red lips and black eyeliner it's the perfect colour for my liking^^

I was a little overly excited when getting it that I used it before taking a photo sorry><
Just like the viva glam lippy it has a signature but instead of being in the packaging it's imprinted in the lipstick it's self. Similar to Etude House lippy just not as cute^^  *Etude House reference again haha*

Product info:
Description:
-Retro matte lippy
-Online exclusive
-*Sold out now :( *

Purchased from: MAC
Price: £14

Swatch time;p

Swatch with 1 swipe of the lippy.

I'm head over heels in love with this lippy it's unreal seriously I wish that it would be made part of the permanent collection. *Please MAC I would love you forever!*

The colour is absolutely gorgeous and the finish is seriously matte no shine what so ever. I've worn it to work, an I do pretty long shifts anything from 7-9 hours and it stays on all day. It's not necessary to reapply but cause it stays on pretty well but by all means reapply if you feel like. But for me personally I didn't feel the need to reapply at all.
The only thing I didn't really like was that it's so drying on the lips. Of course it's to be expected seeing as thought it's a matte lippy after all. But even so it's seriously drying so I highly recommend exfoliating your lips and applying a balm or moisturizer beforehand.
I normally exfoliate my lips with Lush Bubblegum Lip Scrub, one of my favourite products from Lush plus it tastes good ;)

♥♥♥♥♥ 5/5
Seriously loved it, if it was made part of the permanent collection it would be my go to matter lippy!

Have you tried any of Rihana's summer collection?
What did you think, were you as crazy about it as me?
Let me know in the comments bellow^^

Thank you for reading,
until next time

♥Etude House♥Sleeping Pack {review}♥

안녕:)
It's been a while since I last posted, life has been a little busy what with work and working out. Yes I'm still struggling on with my weight loss journey but I'll get there eventually *Fighting!* Plus added the fact I've been a little sick so there wasn't enough hours in the day for me to post. So I do apologize for the lack of posts recently.
But I'm back with a review for you girls today. Another Etude House review, I've been buying a lot of Etude House products recently, everything is just so cute how can a girl resist?

에뛰드 하우스 10 Hours Sleeping Pack~
 Pore and Sebum Control

Direction and ingredients in Korean
Direction in English

-After facial cleansing, apply a pea size amount of the pack to face prior to bedtime, leave on overnight. And rinse off in the morning.

Benefits:
-Pore tightening.
-Control sebum.
-Non-oily complexion.

Purchased at :Kokosmetics
Price: £12
Amount: 150ml

Cap makes it easy to control the amount of product used.

Before sleeping pack.
Watery texture.
After pack applied.
Where to buy?:
Again I ordered from my favourite store again, Kokosmetics you can purchase this item from them Here. But for you girls that live outside the UK and Europe Etude House sleeping pack )pore tightening) are available at the following store along with the other sleeping packs in this line:
w2beauty

Scent:
Just like the I'm blooming mist it has a very faint scent, a mix between a mint and light floral scent. Pleasant but very faint.

Packaging:
It's the usual super cuteness from Etude House I just can't help falling in love with the super cute packaging. This particular facial pack comes in a sweet pastel mint green coloured tube with a 'painting' of a beautiful fairy asleep under a moon.

Final thoughts:
After using this sleeping pack for a good 3-4 weeks, I haven't really seen or felt any difference in my skin. Etude House claims that it tightens pores and leaves skin with a non-oily complexion, sadly I have to disagree. My skin has become pretty oily recently so I was hoping that this pack would help control excess sebum, but I failed to notice any difference. If anything in the mornings I found my T-zone was slightly more oily than before. Overall I was pretty disappointed with this pack which pains me to say considering how much I totally love Etude House, so my expectations were pretty high I must say. Even though I was overly disappointed with this product I did like the constancy and how moisturizing it feels once first applied. I just didn't like the oil on my skin in the mornings.
As much as I love Etude House I wont be repurchasing this facial pack again. Sorry Etude House I love you but I didn't love your sleeping pack.

♥I'm Blooming {Etude house review}♥

{Etude House I'm Blooming sebum control mist}

Directions in Korean.
Direction in English.

Product info:
Description:
~This sebum control list thoroughly hydrates thirsty skin skin while controlling oil and shine, providing soft powdery skin.

Benefits:
~Strengthen skin's natural vitality.
~Helps maintain fresh healthy skin.
~Contains 95.5% of early summer green tea extract, that balances out skin's moisture level.

Purchased at: Kokosmetics
Price: £12
Amount: 150ml

Before mist.
After mist.
Where to buy:
I brought mine from Kokosmetics, purely because I've ordered from them before. They are based in the UK and at reasonable prices plus free shipping (limited time UK only). Which is a major factor for me when ordering online, plus there customer service is really good and shipping to me is super fast.

Scent:
Maybe I don't have a very good sense of smell cause the scent is really really faint, I can hardly smell anything at all. Which in some ways I guess is okay it's not a perfume after all but I would of like the scent to have been a little stronger.

Packaging:
As always with Etude House products the packaging is super cute, pretty pink and girly. That's what always attracts me to Etude House the other reason it's affordable and genuinely works. The bottle is also a sugar pink colour and has the same cute little flowers on the front of it. It's just super super cute!! I also like the spray nozzle on this it releases a light mist and doesn't drench my face in water, so I can apply it after makeup and during the day when I feel my face is becoming a little oily

Final thoughts:
With the muggy weather we've been having in the UK I tend to find my face a lot more oily than usual. So I was really looking for something that would help me control that shine. The mist works reasonably well but doesn't completely stop my skin from becoming oily it lasts for about 3-4 hours on my skin. Then I have to start misting my face again, which can sometimes be a pain if I'm working. But having said that it really refreshes my skin through out the day and has a cooling effect on my skin. I really love that about this product. It's a nice product to have but isn't very travel friendly for my bag.

Overall I like this mist it works reasonably well and a good inexpensive price. Though I wouldn't go to Etude House especially to buy, it's something I quiet enjoy and might purchase again.

♥Something Personal~ Living with PCOS♥

Living with PCOS...
Well as the title says this post will be about something a little more personal than usual. I don't tend to speak about my personal things a lot but I think this is something that I want to share with you girls. This is a topic I really don't tend to speak about and on a hole tend to avoid. But I want to help and share my experiences with other girls that have PCOS and hopefully help you in some way.

MY STORY:
About two years ago I was diagnosed with Polycystic ovary syndrome or PCOS for short. At that time I was 18 years old and really confused, it was the first time I had ever herd about Polycystic ovary syndrome before. And at the time I didn't really understand what it was or how it would effect me at all. For anyone that doesn't know what it is PCOS is something that effects 5-10% of women 12-45 years of age. There are three main features of PCOS: *note you don't have to have all three to be diagnosed with PCOS*
  • The first being cysts that develop around the ovaries i.e Polycystic ovaries.
  • The second being ovulation, a failure to release eggs from the ovaries.
  • And thirdly male hormones being higher than normal and or male hormones that are more active than normal.
With those three main features it could lead you to the following symptoms which are all... really not very nice, I have some but not all of the following symptoms:

  • Excessive body hair (Hirsutism) *I suffer from.
  • Irregular or light periods. *I suffer from.
  • Infertility (problems getting pregnant)
  • Weight gain *I suffer from.
  • Acne.
  • Hair loss from the head.
All these symptoms as a girl sounds really awful I know. When I first went to the doctor to find out why I was having irregular periods I thought 'Oh I'll just have to speak with my doctor then possibly take some medication to help.' But I was wrong.....After explaining to my doctor that my periods were irregular and that I was having a period possibly once every 7 months, sometimes none at all. And during the time when I didn't have any periods I was suffering from a lot of pain in my lower back and the lower part of my tummy. I was told that there were two options for me I could take the pill I was told it would begin to make my periods regular again, but due to my weight I couldn't take the pill. (at the time I was at my heaviest weight I'd ever been touching the scales at just under 16st , 221lbs, 100kg) So instead I was offered the mini pill which is pretty much the same. I was given that and told to come back after taking it for a month. Sadly it didn't work, yes I got a period but it lasted for just over 2 weeks so made the decision to take myself off the medication. After going back to the doctors I was sent to the hospital to have an ultrasound scan and blood tests done. When I went back to the doctors for the results it was then that I was diagnosed with PCOS.

Frankly speaking since then the symptoms I have are worst than when I was first diagnosed. Being a girl of course I find the symptoms really difficult to deal with, they really have affected my confidence and taken me to an all time low. I've felt like a freak because of excess body hair that I have on my face, arms and the rapid hair growth. To me it's just not feminine to have facial hair, even if when I've been told by family members they can't see anything it's just the thought of it being there even though it's hidden. Facial hair coupled with weight problems, and finding it extremely hard to lose weight can bring the strongest of girls down. It's difficult to have PCOS I've felt alone at time's and have lost complete confidence in myself too, it's difficult for people without it to understand how it feels. Each case is different our bodies aren't the same and it affects us girls all differently.

But I truly believe that speaking with other girls that have PCOS and sharing our experiences, and our challenges with PCOS. We can have peace of mind that we aren't alone and that we shouldn't have to feel like freaks because of the various symptoms we may or may not suffer from.

After neglecting myself since being diagnosed I have decided to fight back against my PCOS, lose weight, become healthy and get my confidence back. I would like to share my battle against this and hopefully inspire   some of you girls that suffer from it to do the same.

Please know you are not alone in the fight against this awful syndrome I have it too. If you have PCOS or know someone that does please leave me a comment and tell me your story or send me an email. I would love to hear from other girls that also suffer from PCOS.

If you stuck with this and read to the end I'd like to thank you, this post was a little difficult for me to write but I hope it will help anyone that has the same.

Until next time
bye bye
