♥Bold Red Lip Makeup Tutorial♥

안녕 everyone it's been forever since I last posted anything.
Sorry I've been away for so long, I've had a few family problems going on the past few months that's kept me from blogging and making video's for YouTube. I won't bore you with all the details all that matters is that I'm back and excited about making some makeup tutorials for you girlies^^ If you have any suggestions do feel free to comment in the section below I'd love to hear from you all.
Also I'd just like to say a big thank you for staying around and not unfollowing my blog despite my very long absence it means a lot:)

I'm back with another makeup tutorial. This time I'm going for a classic retro red lip, I absolutely love wearing this all year round it's kind of my signature look along with the black liner. I really think a good old classic red lip goes with any outfit and compliments all skin tones.

PRODUCTS USED IN THE VIDEO
~MAC Cosmetics Kiss Me Quick lip liner
~RIMMEL London Kate, 111 Kiss Of Love lipstick
~MAC cosmetics Studio Fix Foundation in NC15
~Real Techniques Accent Brush
As always you don't have to use any of the products shown in this video, so feel free to use your favourite red lipstick. I normally like to wear retro Matt RiRi Woo from MAC but retro Matts aren't for everyone do I decided to use 'Kiss of Life'.
Thank you for watching my video I hope you like, please don't forget to like, comment and subscribe. I love reading the comments.

♥Mint to Be {Limecrime review} ♥

안녕 everyone!! EEEKKKKK I'm super super exciting about this review!!
As the title says I'll be reviewing Limecrime's Mint To Be, seriously I've been totally wanting to get this lipstick for a lonnng time believe me! But trying to find a place that sells it here in the UK, or finding somewhere that doesn't cost the earth for shipping charges was a nightmare to find. But I finally got my hands on one!! Seriously girls you won't believe how excited I am to have this lipstick!!

If you saw me you'd know that I seriously love matte lipsticks. I have a load of them in an array of colours most of which are from Mac. But I seem to have a tendency to go for a classic red or a deep burgundy/red/brown (that's a mouth full haha). However recently I've been wanting to get a green lipstick, green is totally unique and a colour that is extremely difficult to find! After seeing Mint to Be on Limecrime's site I fell in love and just had to get it!
By the way does anyone know where I can get a deep green lipstick? I really want a lipstick darker than Mint to Be.

Anyway I digress...
Mint to be is a gorgeous pastel mint green colour. In this photo it looks true to the colour it is in real life, however in the photos at the end of this post it's got a blue-ish look to it. But it is actually a true mint green.

Packaging

Mint to be comes in an absolutely gorgeously cute purple bullet, with a silver holographic unicorn on the side. All of limecrime packaging is so cute especially their lip gloss! They've done a really good job with the packaging a big thumbs up from me :)

Swatch time^^

I apologise for my super pale skin my skin really has no colour at all this time of the year Haha><

Mint to be is super opaque and I only applied this lipstick once to get this colour pay off. It's super moisturising and feels really nice on the lips.  Cause of the colour and type of lipstick I wasn't expecting it to be so pigmented it's really a lovely lipstick. I highly recommend this lipstick and the whole of the Limecrime line if you like colourful and unique makeup. One of the best things about Limecrime is that they are Vegan and cruelty-free I really love that about them.

♥♥♥♥♥ 5/5 Love it!

When wearing Mint to be I tend to keep my eye makeup pretty plain, cause I want the focus to be on my lips. So here I just made sure my face is clear of imperfections, concealing dark circles and any blemishes. For the eyes I washed a light colour all over my eye lids one that is a shade pretty much the same as my skin tone. Then to make the eyes pop I added some liner, a simple black liner and bold lips will always work well together.

Girls what do you think, will you be getting Mint to be?
Have you tried Limecrime before?

Let me know in the comments below:)

Thank you for reading
Until next time

♥Bucket List for 2014♥

So 2014 is finally here!!!
Happy new year to my lovely followers and readers:) Did you have a good Christmas and New Year's Eve?
I know it's January 7th so it's been 2014 for a week now. I'm a bit late but I thought it would be a pretty good idea to write my bucket list or must do's for 2014. 2013 gave me a lot of good and fun memories and many first experiences too, I went abroad for the first time, traveled to London for the first time, holidayed in South Korea etc... 2013 was a pretty good year for me, though a good year of course it also came with some regrets and bad times too but good memories over shadowed any bad time thankfully:)

At the beginning of every year everyone seems to make new years resolutions I've made some in the past but seemed to give up or fail after a few months. I'm sure I'm not the only one right? So I've decided to make 2014 the year of change! A year where I stick to what I start, not give up. To try and achieve most if not all of the list below...... So I hope that we can all support each other in our own new year resolutions.

  • Lose weight, not for vanity reasons but for health reason. I suffer from PCOS (Poloycystic Ovarian Syndrome) Losing weight will help with any side effects and pains I currently suffer from.
  • Learn Korean! I started learning last year on and off but not fully committing myself to the language. Being a native English speaker Korean is super hard for me also I suck at English grammar so really gotta hit the books hard. what with visiting Seoul last year I really wanted to speak with the locals so I was super frustrated with myself for not studying :(
  • Travel more! I officially caught the travel bug in 2013 ㅋㅋ
  • Pay off credit card seriously must do this by June!!!
  • Save money for 2015 Future plan for 2015 is... travel back to South Korea and learn Korean in a language school, for a few month while also travelling around the country.
  • YouTube Start a YouTube channel devoted to my love for Korea / my language learning journey.
  • Blog more!!!!! I really need to stop neglecting my blog. I don't mean to seriously I was super busy last year especially toward the end of the year. Sorry please forgive me guys!

What are your new years resolutions?
Are they similar or the same as mine?
Leave a message and let me know, I hope we can support each other in our new years resolutions everyone:)
Until next time have fun and stay healthy^^
bye bye

♥March 14th,2013: Exciting news?♥

I'm back with a couple of exciting things to say ^^, Okay so the first is that I've finally got my passport yay!! After what felt like forever waiting it arrived last Thursday sitting waiting for me when I got home. For once I don't actually have to complain about the British Post Office high five for that ㅋㅋ

The second piece of news and quite possibly the most exciting thing to date for me is, *ohh the suspense*  I am going to South Korea! Yes that's right who would of thought my first journey abroad would be to Seoul/Suwon. People have told me that it's not really your normal place to visit, especially if it's your first trip abroad. But hey I'm not your normal British girl I guess. Besides the whole lets go to Majorca or Ibiza thing where everyone else seems to go oh and don't get me started on Benidorm. It's just something that doesn't interest me at all especially the likes of Benidorm where it's literately Brits second home. What's the point of visiting a different country when all your surrounded by more British people. Not that I have anything against that it's just that I feel when visiting foreign lands you have to properly experience the country by speaking and surrounded by the locals. Plus the best way to learn about the country and culture is by getting to know the locals.
Anyway I digress so yes that's right South Korea is my first destination, flights are already booked with British airways. I'll be in Korea from April 3rd to April 18th that's 2 weeks of pure adventure can't wait.! There are a few places I want to see while I'm there one being Gyeongbokgung Palace in Seoul the royal palace that was home to many generations of royalty throughout the years. And the other being the arty, indie part of Seoul, Hongdae which is located very close to Hongki University it's a well known part of Seoul for it's urban arts, and indie music culture. Which is perfect for me seeing as though I love everything and anything to do with the arts, be it music painting, photography ect... Plus there is a bonus of the fact many of my favourite k-dramas where filmed there, one being Flower Boy Ramyeon Shop 꽃미남 라면가게.

As well as seeing the beautiful Palaces and traditional buildings Korea has to offer shopping is also high on my to do list. Being in the worlds beauty hub just that alone is more than an excuse to shop till I drop, but best check the bank first ㅋㅋ^^  Street after street of beauty and cosmetic stores is a make-up junkies heaven believe me it's going to take all my will power not to spend all my money on cosmetics. But there are a few brands in Korea that we can't get here in the UK so I'm excited to try some of those brands out. Etude House and the Face shop are the two I'm excited about. Slightly worried about if everything will actually fit back in my suit case but that's besides the point.

Although I'll be busy sight seeing and what not I'm planning on keeping you guys up to date on my trip. So what I'm basically saying is be prepared to be bombarded by photo's, possibly videos and posts while I'm away. Well I guess it's about time to start thinking about what to pack, if you have any suggestions do let me know it is my first time abroad after all.
